Macelec PA System®

The Macelec PA System® is an Industrial Public Address/Intercom system designed and built to operate where two-way communications is essential in heavy duty working environments. The system is ideal for locations where noise and dirt can interfere with conventional communications. The first systems were installed in 1980 and many are still in operation today, even in harsh industrial applications such as steel mills and coal mines.

A basic system comprises an amplifier and five standard PA Units, but it can be configured to suit any customer’s requirements. Large installations may employ over sixty stations.

The main features include:

• two way communication (common talk) system.
• ideally suited for noisy, dirty conditions.
• no electrical power required for PA Units.
• simple to install and maintain- stainless steel construction.
• simple wiring required.
• heavy duty “press to talk switch”.
